Dr. Mark Frobb is a Pain Management physician with a special focus on Orthopedic Medicine Rehabilitation and management of chronic back pain and whiplash associated disorders (WAD). In addition to accreditation in Medical Acupuncture, his academic background includes certification in Family Medicine and Osteopathic training in manual physical therapies; modalities of therapy that he has incorporated into his pain management and rehabilitation practice over the past 30 years.

In conjunction with an active practice in patient care and rehabilitation services, Dr. Frobb provides third party Independent Medical Examinations (IME's) in functional assessment of automobile and work-related injuries for insurance companies and at the request of legal representatives for their individual clients.

In addition to providing client based medical legal services to regional legal advocates, Dr. Frobb has provided expert medical legal opinions to the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), publishes regularly in peer-reviewed literature in his area of expertise and is an active presenter in continuing medical education conferences.

Dr. Frobb has prepared expert medicolegal opinions for both defence and plaintiff counsel; and has been qualified as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of British Columbia on the nonsurgical treatment and management of vertebral spinal column pain syndromes including whiplash-associated disorder (WAD).

Tim Ong B.Sc. (Kinesiology)

A graduate in kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, Tim has been actively involved and trained in rehabilitation therapy in physiotherapy clinics as well as in the treatment and educational programming of elite athletes for the prevention of injury. In addition to supervising the spinal conditioning programming at the Chronic Back Pain Clinic, Tim is actively involved in volunteering in hospitals and membership on medical teams for community athletic programs including preparatory boot camps for RCMP auxiliaries.


Tim's role at the Chronic Back Pain Clinic Kinesiology services is to provide a wide variety of exercise rehabilitation therapeutic programs to assist in posture reconditioning and recovery of spinal muscular imbalance and spinal column movement He brings to this job an energetic and practical approach to exercise programming that is personalized for every individual — and a desire to see you take back control of your life!
